We huffed...and we puffed...and blEEEWWW that barn down!
Forgot to post when we helped tear down Jeremy's mom's barn in mid-August.  It had already blown over somewhat from age.  We removed items from within it.  We manually pulled apart some of the barn and received help from a neighbor using a back-hoe.  Kind of sad to see it all down.
Shed/Milk House--emptied out!

Everything around/above the chicken coop came down

Main barn (left)--chicken coop (off to the right)

Shed (1st picture) torn down--notice the strong main beam still standing!

Ash in front is remnants from the large burn pile (another burn pile was behind the barn)--chicken coop behind that (filled with additional wood to burn)--milk house and shed are down
What a change of view!  It is safer to have it down but filled with memories of long ago...kids playing inside of it...grandkids playing around it...fish heads hung as "trophies"...storage of items that surrounded a family filled with love.  Time to make new memories.
