Today we visited a pioneer village a lot like Connor Prairie.  The people were dressed in their time period but kept conversations in todays terms.  We were joining 700 students who were also visiting...unbelievably not too crowded.  We learned a lot of new facts about the time periods of 1816-1860 or so.  It is nestled in the city, over 30 acres, so it was kind of funny to see an 1816 log cabin house with a high-rise in the near distance. :)

Ready for Pioneering!

Planning to drive into downtown on Sunday when there is less traffic so I can get a lay-of-the-land.  For a suburban girl, I'm not doin too bad in the BIG CITY.
